As a ceramic artist from Colorado, I draw inspiration from animals, nature, and vibrant colors to create both functional and sculptural pieces.

I was first inspired by ceramics in a high school class. Years later, as a mom painting pottery with my kids for fun, I said to myself, “ I want to make my own pots to paint someday!” In 2015, I finally took a pottery class at Boulder Potter’s Guild, and by 2021, I became a member of the Guild! It has been a slow process, but the growth, discovery, and fun results of becoming a ceramic artist is a joy every day.

These photos show some of my work in progress. It is a slow and painstaking process to throw, form, and decorate pieces, but the results are worth the investment!
